WHEN IS THE END?

That Day, the End Day, Is Restoration Day

hile anyone can, and so many have set actual dates, the

only dates that could count are dates that God would

have set. Has He set dates? Where and how can we find them

and interpret them, particularly “That Day”—the End Day, the

Day of the Lord? The disciples of Christ asked Him when the

age would end (Matt. 24:3). In essence, they asked Him about

the Day of the Lord.

Christ remarked,

“No one knows about that day or hour,

not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Fa-

ther”

(Matt. 24:36; Mark 13:32).

In the first chapter of Acts, we see the disciples of Christ

asking Him again, after His resurrection, about that day. Several

things are shown in scripture. We must remember that by that

time, Christ had reclaimed the glory He had before the world

began (John 17:5); the same glory He now shares with the Fa-

ther in heaven (1 Tim. 3:16), with all wisdom and knowledge

(Col. 2:3).
