END NON-JEWISH KINGDOMS
The End will come in order to re-establish David’s throne
and kingdom. The book of Daniel gives us four great empires
that would follow David’s kingdom—the Babylonian, Medo-
Persian, Grecian, and Roman. Revelation 13:2 shows us that
these empires will be rebuilt, and together will both endorse
the Antichrist and oppose God. The Omega will bring these to
an end.
“In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a
kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to an-
other people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them
to an end, but it will itself endure forever”
(Dan. 2:44).
ESTABLISH CHRIST AS KING OF THE JEWS
At Jesus’ crucifixion, the Roman soldiers mocked Him
when they put a sign over His head that said,
“King of the
Jews.”
At the end, all of Christ’s mockers will be under the rule
of the One whom they unwittingly titled accurately.
“Of the increase of his government and peace there will be
no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty
will accomplish this”
(Isa. 9:7).
Other passages testify to the Kingship of Jesus:
“He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most
High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father Da-
vid, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his king-
dom will never end”
(Luke 1:32-33).
