lapsing, people will flock to purchase precious metals in an
attempt to find security in gold and silver.

An oratorical genius:
“The horn that looked more imposing than the others and
that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully”
(Dan.
7:20).
“The beast I saw…had…a mouth of a lion”
(Rev. 13:2).
The mouth of a lion is symbolic of an orator who gains at-
tention and commands respect. This speaks of the majesty
and awe-inspiring effects of his voice.

A political genius:
“He will invade the kingdom when its people feel secure,
and he will seize it through intrigue. After coming to an
agreement with him, he will act deceitfully, and with only a
few people he will rise to power”
(Dan. 11:21, 23).

A commercial genius:
“By your great skill in trading you have increased your
wealth,”
(Ezek. 28:5).
“He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor,
free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his
forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had
the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of
his name”
(Rev. 13:16-17).
According to Rev. 14:11, all who participate in this new
“implanted” banking system will receive eternal damnation:
“And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever.
