bring in everlasting righteousness, to fulfill scriptural vision and
prophecy, and to anoint the most holy (Dan 9:24). (For more
detail, see “The Count Down” in Chapter 3, “WHEN.”) This
reconciling for sin is explained in the New Testament:
“All this
is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and
gave us the ministry of reconciliation… Be reconciled to
God… God made him who had no sin to be sin (a sin offering)

He went back to His place (heaven) and will be there until, in
their misery, the Jews earnestly seek Him (Hos. 5:15).
The seven years that remain are known as the Seventieth
Week of Daniel, or the Tribulation. It is the time of Jacob’s (Is-
rael’s) Trouble. An outline of what will happen in this end-time
period is given in the book of Daniel:
“The end will come like a
flood; War will continue until the end, and desolations have
been decreed. He will confirm a covenant with many for one
‘seven’ but in the middle of that ‘seven’ he will put an end to
sacrifice and offering. And one who causes desolation will place
