Bring in [your idols] to tell us what is going to happen.

Tell us what the former things were, so that we may consider

them and know their final outcome. Or declare to us the things

to come, tell us what the future holds, so we may know that

you are gods. Do something, whether good or bad, so that we

will be dismayed and filled with fear

” (Isaiah 41:22-23).

God Himself shows us above that prophecy declares divini-

ty!

Divine prophecy contains specific details, and is both writ-

ten and typical. It will be fulfilled literally and specifically by

the One who has told us of the past and Who tells us of the

future. The prophecies that have already come true attest to

their being inspired by God. Some of the past, fulfilled prophe-

cies show us that even the days on which the events occurred

were foretold! Certainly, the future, unfulfilled prophecies con-

cerning the end will be fulfilled as accurately!

Each chapter examines one of the following questions as-

sociated with the end—Who, What, When, Where, Why, and

How. We are all time-bound creatures and anything as mo-

mentous as THE END will naturally raise our curiosity and in-

terest, especially now that we see the sun beginning to set. This

book was not written to satisfy passing curiosity, but to en-

lighten and inspire the reader, to correct and rebuke what has

been improperly taught as prophecy, and to sufficiently in-

struct and enable others to make the decision to escape the

coming wrath.
