“The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilder-
ness will rejoice and blossom. The burning sand will become a
pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where
jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow”
(Isa.
35:1, 7).
“They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion;
they will rejoice in the bounty of the Lord; the grain, the new
wine and the oil, the young of the flocks and herds. They will
be like a well-watered garden, and they will sorrow no more”
(Jer. 31:12).
“No longer will there be any curse”
(Rev. 22:3).
END PAIN, SICKNESS, & PREMATURE DEATH
For those of us who have practiced in the healing arts and
sciences there is great news. At the end, dentists, nurses, phy-
sicians, etc., will suddenly become underemployed or unem-
ployed!
“There will be no more death or mourning or crying or
pain, for the old order of things has passed away”
(Rev. 21:4).
“Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of
the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and
the mute tongue shout for Joy”
(Isa. 35:5-6).
“Never again will there be in it an infant that lives but a few
days, or an old man who does not live out his years; he who
dies at a hundred will be thought a mere youth”
(Isa. 65:20).
