stand that the judgement of the “sheep and goats” (Matt.
25:32-33) is prerequisite to entering the Millennium. But they
don’t understand that this judgement is based on works and
not salvation! There is only mention of works here, and one is
not saved by works (Rom. 3:21-26). Thus salvation
, 32not be-
ing a criteria for entering the Millennium, allows the unsaved to
enter.
Earlier, we saw what appears to be a mid-tribulational rap-
ture, which should occur in connection with the mid-
tribulational resurrection (Dan. 12:1-2). The verses below ap-
pear to be for those who were not believers at the mid-
tribulational rapture.
“The godly have been swept from the
land; not one upright man remains. The day of your watchmen
has come, the day God visits you. But as for me, I watch in
hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear
me. He will bring me out into the light”
(Micah 7:2, 4, 7, 9).
This coming into the light is also associated with resurrec-
tion.
“Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will
shine on you”
(Eph. 5:14).
“Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, you who do
what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; per-
haps you will be sheltered on the day of the Lord’s anger”
(Zeph. 2:3).
In John 11:24-25, Martha, like most other Jews, was aware
of a resurrection at the last day. Jesus showed that one does
not have to wait until the last day when He ordered Lazarus to
