The Old Testament prophets never saw this long break be-
cause it was not revealed to them (Eph. 3:5);
“The mystery
that has been kept hidden for ages and generations…”
(Col.
1:26). Paul addressed both the Mystery and the Rapture.
Rapture Within The Mystery
“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we
will all be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the
last trumpet”
(1 Cor. 15:51-52).
Let’s start guessing when this will happen, right now! It
will happen sometime between the present and the time when
the Antichrist signs a seven-year peace treaty with Israel.
The Bible gives a promise that the lawless one (the Anti-
christ) will not be revealed until the One who is restraining
lawlessness is taken out of the way (2 Thess. 2:7-8). The One
who is the restrainer could be none other than the Holy Spirit,
indwelling and working through the body of believers, the
Church.
The Bible also promises that God will never leave the be-
lievers (Heb. 13:5). Therefore, when the Holy Spirit is taken
out of the way, the believers go with Him. We are told that this
will be done before the Antichrist is positively identified or re-
vealed (at least by the signing of the peace treaty with Israel).
Since it will take time for the Antichrist to work his way into
position for such an agreement, he will surely have revealed
many indications of his identity before the actual signing cere-
mony. So it is probable that the Church will be taken out of
the way long before the ceremony, perhaps years earlier. The
removal of the Church, and the Holy Spirit, will open the door
