That the new birth or salvation is only in Jesus Christ,
“Sal-
vation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under
heaven given to men by which we must be saved”
(Acts
4:12)—
That it applies to all people,
“…that everyone who believes
in him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world that
he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life”
(John 3:15, 16)—
And that salvation is only a prayer away,
“That if you con-
fess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart
that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Every-
one who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”
(Rom.
10:9, 13).
Is there any reason to procrastinate?
“Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts”
(Heb. 3:7-8, 15; 4:7).
Accept God’s gift of escape NOW, rather than His judge-
ment later, by repeating this sinner’s prayer and believing it in
your heart:
“Lord, I haven’t known you or had a relationship with you.
I was blind, but now I see. I want to escape your wrath. I be-
lieve that you have paid the price for my sins at your cross, by
the sacrifice of your only Son. I confess with my mouth that
Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that You raised Him
from the dead. Thus, I am saved. THANK YOU for saving me!
Amen.”
