movements of air such as hurricanes and tornadoes. Cool un-

derwater subterranean springs will also be formed (Isa. 41:18).

Surely the volcanic upheavals and the atmospheric bom-

bardments will resupply the soil with nutrients and trace ele-

ments. The innumerable dead plants, animals, and yes, people,

will (like Jezebel) become fertilizing agents, adding organic nu-

trients to the soils as well. Death will then yield life.

LIGHTNING, THUNDERSTORMS, & TIDAL WAVES

“The nations were angry; and your wrath has come. The

time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your

servants the prophets and your saints and those who reverence

your name, both small and great; and for destroying those who

destroy the earth. Then God’s temple in heaven was opened,

and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And

there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an

earthquake and a great hailstorm”

(Rev. 11:18-19).

The Psalms give us a description of how the revelation of

the Omega will occur:

“Out of the brightness of his presence

clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning. The

Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High re-

sounded. He shot his arrows and scattered [the enemies], great

bolts of lightning and routed them. The valleys of the sea were

exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at your re-

buke, O Lord, at the blast of breath from your nostrils”

(Psalm

18:12-15).

The book of Habakkuk expounds on the above passage:

“Rays will flash from his hand where his power is hidden”

(Hab

3:4). As the mountains sink, the deep (the sea) roars and lifts
