ever”
(Psalm 125:1). Jerusalem, and all those who trust in the
Lord Jesus, will endure forever! tsunami
MOUNTAINS CRUMBLE
Earlier in the tribulation, the mountains and islands had
been shaken and moved from their places, but at this immeas-
urable earthquake, every island fled away and the mountains
could not be found. Jerusalem is split into three parts and mol-
ten rocks (100 pound hailstones) are cast into the sky (Rev.
16:19-21).
At this point, God will decide that Jerusalem has paid dou-
ble for all her sins, and that it is time for her to be comforted.
The above passage brings us to a voice calling:
“In the desert
prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a
highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every
mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become
level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will
be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the
mouth of the Lord has spoken”
(Isa. 40:3-5).
“Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations,
as he fights in the day of battle. On that day his feet will stand
on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of
Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great
valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving
south. You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to
Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days
of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and
all the holy ones with him”
(Zech. 14:3-5).
