will be no light, no cold or frost. It will be a unique day, with-
out daytime or nighttime—a day known to the Lord. When
evening comes, there will be light”
(Zech. 14:3-7).
After the bright noon sun goes out, the light is turned on,
at 6:00 p.m. (Zech. 14:7). All will witness the terror of the Glo-
ry of God—Jesus Christ in His eminent glory!
“In the evening, sudden terror! Before the morning, they
are gone”
(Isa. 17:14)!
The prophet Ezekiel had no less of a vision for Yom Kippur,
“At the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month…”
(Ezek. 40:1). (This is Tishri 10.)
“In visions of God he took me to the land of Israel…and I
saw a man whose appearance was like bronze”
(Ezek. 40:2-3).
This is the same vision the Apostle John saw when he
wrote the Book of Revelation—a vision he saw through the Ho-
ly Spirit on the Lord’s Day (Rev 1:10). John saw this same
man, who no doubt is Jesus Christ.
“I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me.
And when I turned I saw…someone ‘like a son of man,’
dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden
sash around his chest. His head and hair were white like wool,
as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet
were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like
the sound of rushing waters… His face was like the sun shin-
ing in all its brilliance”
(Rev. 1:12-16).
This compares to what Daniel the prophet saw in the 10th
chapter of Daniel (v. 6), and in a vision of the Ancient of Days
